Striped bass

The boat launched on tax day this year (the original date, not the delayed one) and Peter has been taking advantage of it as much as he can. The lobster aren't moving yet - a check on the pots this weekend didn't even show signs of crabs or mollusks yet. But the striped bass are in the harbor. Pete picked this one up using one of his homemade "bunny flies" - so named after the fur they use. It was big enough to deliver dinner to two sets of friends while feeding the three of us.

I don’t whether to be more impressed with the bass or that words accompanied the picture in one of your posts 😀
