Back by popular demand, here is another St. Lawrence update! Ive spent the last month visiting around upstate New York and frantically studying for midterms. My friends and I made the 3 hour trip up to Lake George. A trip that involved three stops to look at cows, an hour of low visability alerts, a particularly loud game of "are we there yet?" and a lot of The Cure. The house was gorgeous and once we googled how to fix a water valve we picked fights over Hello Kitty Monopoly and explored the area for the weekend. I also went down to Rochester to visit Odessa (and to exist within civilization again.) We saw a New York City based, all women, POC orcestra and tried to catch a squirrel for a pet. Finally, Midterms have been going on for the last two weeks; you'll be happy to know that I can now name 39 rocks and minerals on sight (please don't ask me about Galena.) ^^I no longer remember the context for the caption Chris gave this image. **DISCLAIMER neither boy was co...

As per request; here is an overview of my first month at college! I've rewatched the Barbie movie (he's just Ken,) and learned how to communicate with another teenager-- one: casually look over, two: smile, three: find a common interest, "I see you have a cell phone... I like your phone cover...I used to have one like that but it broke." Thanks, St. Lawrence, couldn't do it without you. The campus is as pretty as I remembered and geology fieldwork has provided an excellent excuse to see more of the county. I've now been to a Walmart-- which has its own private "Walmart radio" station. And not yet killed a single plant. And finally, I've built up an army of plastic ducks and have been hiding this bunch in my friend's rooms. Long live the duck army. ^^ My dorm room, ^^ ODY library tree room
