Max and Esme

Rye High School hosted a ceremony for seniors being inducted into National Honor Society on Monday. Here's our honoree after the room cleared. Very proud of Esme for her academic success - and for exhibiting the NHS qualities of scholarship, leadership, character, and service.

 Typical view in the Scottish highlands. This is taken outside Aviemore where we spent the first few days. The landscape was really beautiful. 

 Edinburgh is built on a series of hills. Lots of elevation makes for distant views in family selfies! Some of the streets are connected by long narrow closes of stone steps.
