Max and Esme

Esme is attending her first bat mitzvah today. She was very excited for the event and the party that occurs after. She looked beautiful, a young lady.

Max can usually be found playing Xbox on Saturday mornings. Sometimes while trash talking with a friend or his cousin Lincoln. This morning it's Minecraft. To be fair he has already taken Olive out for a trip to the park.

Esme conducted a fashion show of the new clothes she received for Christmas. Here she is modeling a dress from Grandma Sissy. She'll be wearing this one to the theater tomorrow evening when we go to see The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

I didn't manage to get great photos of the kids this year on Christmas morning. Dad (my dad) turned the lights off during the photo shoot so all my camera pics turned out dark. Maybe he did better with his, but he hasn't shared them yet (hint). But even if we didn't capture the perfect image, we did have the perfect morning. Here are the kids sporting their traditional annual Christmas pajamas, and we had a great time working through the pile of gifts under the tree before moving on to our brunch of amazing-tasting-but-so-bad-for-you fried bread dough.
