Max and Esme

We had our first giod snowfall overnight, and since we didn't have a white Christmas this year we have decided to celebrate Thismas this morning. Coffee and fried bread dough foklowed by some shoveling and snowballs before the rain takes the white away.

A previously unknown artist from our town who works only with paper and glue. Now 98, this is the first public showing of his work. It was really remarkable and Esme was an attentive fan.

At AMNH to pay homage to the last of his species.

As a member of the Student Council, Esme was invited to participate in the 50th anniversary ceremony of our town hall building.  She was proud to meet the mayor and represent her school.  Although the length of the speeches may have turned most of the kids off the idea of a life commited to public service.
